More re­li­able ar­rival and de­par­ture times for pas­sen­gers: Arve­rio Deutsch­land uses AI-pow­ered big data fore­cast­ing for this, di­rect­ly on the ETC Plat­form.

To­geth­er with DB pas­sen­ger in­for­ma­tion, we brought the Big Data Fore­cast to the Arve­rio con­trol cen­ter. The re­sult is more pre­cise fore­casts across the en­tire net­work, in real-time and with­out ad­di­tion­al ef­fort for dis­patch­ing.

What the Big Data Fore­cast achieves:

  • Fore­cast for all trains in the net­work, in­clud­ing his­to­ry and the in­ter­ac­tions be­tween the trains

  • Minute-by-minute up­dates, a be­gin­ning de­lay buildup is de­tect­ed ear­ly, even if the train is cur­rent­ly on time

  • Sig­nif­i­cant­ly high­er fore­cast qual­i­ty than the pre­vi­ous pro­ce­dure, across all fore­cast hori­zons and op­er­a­tional sit­u­a­tions

  • Seam­less­ly in­te­grat­ed into the ETC Plat­form, dis­patch­ers al­ways re­tain full con­trol and can in­ter­vene man­u­al­ly
