BVG Se­ries J is live

Our PIMS based on the ETC Plat­form now also pro­vides the new Stadler trains of the Berlin U-Bahn with cen­tral pas­sen­ger in­for­ma­tion.

A big day for Berlin and for us: The Berlin­er Verkehrs­be­triebe (BVG) have put their new sub­way ve­hi­cles of the Se­ries J into op­er­a­tion and we were live there.

Our PIMS (Passenger Information Module Subway) based on our ETC Plat­form is the cen­tral pas­sen­ger in­for­ma­tion sys­tem of the Berlin U-Bahn. It works in the back­ground and now also sup­plies the new Stadler trains of the Se­ries J with im­por­tant data for:

  • real-time pas­sen­ger in­for­ma­tion

  • op­ti­mized con­nec­tion in­for­ma­tion

  • even more re­li­a­bil­i­ty for pas­sen­gers

Par­tic­u­lar­ly beau­ti­ful: The first cer­e­mo­ni­al ride led di­rect­ly to our of­fice at Berlin Haupt­bahn­hof. From the last in­spec­tion be­fore com­mis­sion­ing to the ar­rival in front of our door, it was a mo­ment we were proud to be a part of.
