VDV 736 is live

With the suc­cess­ful live launch of the VDV 736 dis­rup­tion no­ti­fi­ca­tion tool, dis­rup­tions are now be­ing com­mu­ni­cat­ed in real-time ex­act­ly where they are need­ed: on-site dis­plays, in the SBB timetable, and in the net­work in­for­ma­tion of VB TPB.

Milestone in passenger information system: VDV 736 successfully launched!
A project is rarely a sprint, often it is a marathon. Therefore, we are even prouder to share a true highlight today: Together with our client Verkehrsbetriebe Biel, we have successfully launched the new VDV 736 disruption notification tool into live operation!
What does this mean for passengers?
Through seamless integration, disruptions now flow via SIP (data hub) in real-time to where they are needed:
- Directly to on-site displays
- Directly into the SBB timetable, for a seamless travel chain
- Directly into the VB-TPB network info – with real-time data, disruption notifications, and other passenger information
We make no secret about it: The start of this project was bumpy and we had to overcome several unexpected hurdles and delays along the way. But it is precisely in such challenges that the quality of collaboration becomes evident.
In recent months, we have pulled out all the stops, optimized processes, and mastered the project together. The intensive and collaborative teamwork in the final phase was simply great and the result speaks for itself.
